Sea pirates of the 21st century are gangs run by criminal ...

Task:  Students will work together to create short presentations to inform their peers about pirates.

 

Directions: 

  1. Open the research information provided on Canvas
  2. Read the research information provided
  3. Collaborate with group member to summarize the information
  4. Create a presentation with your group members
  5. Review information to ensure expertise on the topic
  6. Present to other groups
  7. Open Pre-reading chart on Canvas
  8. Individually fill out chart for each topic
  9. Submit chart and presentation to Canvas
    1. Make sure to say who your group members were
  10. Self evaluate yourself using the rubrics

 

Requirements:

Presentation:

  • Well organized, interesting, and engaging presentation
    • Use of images
    • Point form
    • Layout
  • Demonstrate expertise on topic
    • Summarized information
    • Clearly communicate information

 

Chart:

  • Detailed information for each section
  • Written in point form
  • Clearly demonstrates what you learned from the other presentations

 

Products: A well-organized and interesting presentation and a chart that summarizes what you have learned.

 

Grading and Points: You will be summatively assessed on two rubrics for 20 points
