Context Presentations
Task: Students will work together to create short presentations to inform their peers about pirates.
Directions:
- Open the research information provided on Canvas
- Read the research information provided
- Collaborate with group member to summarize the information
- Create a presentation with your group members
- Review information to ensure expertise on the topic
- Present to other groups
- Open Pre-reading chart on Canvas
- Individually fill out chart for each topic
- Submit chart and presentation to Canvas
- Make sure to say who your group members were
- Self evaluate yourself using the rubrics
Requirements:
Presentation:
- Well organized, interesting, and engaging presentation
- Use of images
- Point form
- Layout
- Demonstrate expertise on topic
- Summarized information
- Clearly communicate information
Chart:
- Detailed information for each section
- Written in point form
- Clearly demonstrates what you learned from the other presentations
Products: A well-organized and interesting presentation and a chart that summarizes what you have learned.
Grading and Points: You will be summatively assessed on two rubrics for 20 points
